INQ Mini 3G review

Is the budget Twitterphone trying to do too much?

Compact design ; Very low price ; Facebook and Skype integration ; Native Twitter client

Slow and sluggish UI ; Cramped keyboard ; Convoluted process to merge contacts with Facebook

A great budget handset that delivers a huge amount of social networking options, but is perhaps guilty of trying to achieve too much.

INQ Mini 3G

INQ caused something of a wave when it dropped its INQ1 handset into the mobile phone pond last year. Taking an approach that focused on software, the INQ1 was one of the first devices to offer out-of-the-box access to social networks and online...

Social network integration, affordable, HSDPA

Poor keyboard, no 3.5mm jack, no FM radio, could take a step further with integration

There are things we don't like about the INQ Mini 3G when you stack it up against what larger devices are doing, but then when you compare it to some of the current offerings outside the "smartphone" category, it copes very well indeed.

INQ Mini 3G review

The INQ1 ‘Facebook' phone was a godsend for the impoverished social networker – and now its successor has added Twitter to the menu

An essential mobile companion for the fanatical, cash-strapped social networker

INQ Mini 3G

The cute little social networking mobile returns in a new, smaller, faster guise and it adds Twitter and 3G into a smaller package. Start it up and you're immediately faced with all your social networking heroes: Twitter, Facebook, IM and Skype on the...

The INQ Mini 3G is a well-built and able phone. If you’re looking for the social networking functionality of a smartphone on a budget, look no further. INQ Mini 3G is tagged with INQ Mini 3G, INQ and Facebook. Select a tag (INQ Mini 3G, for example) to...

INQ Mini 3G review - £60 on payg : Shiny Shiny

Basically the INQ Mini 3G is all about offering social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter on a budget. The phone retails for around £60 on pay as you go and can be snapped up for free with an £15 a month contract (it has just dropped in price...

INQ Mini Twitter Phone

INQ is a relatively new company dedicated to making inexpensive feature phones that have smartphone-like levels of integration with stuff you actually care about, like your social life.

The layout and the ease of use

You can't aggregate tweets by user, check for trending topics, sort direct messages or categorise favourites

INQ Mini 3G

From the makers of last year's Facebook phone, comes the Twitter mobile

Social networking based mobile phone, low cost

Poor battery life, no 3.5mm audio jack

The INQ Mini 3G is really a truly social networking focused handset, rather than a phone housing social networking features. There isn't one large social networking client overlooked, although we would have hoped for a better quality phone this time...
