iPod nano: The Next Generation. Its continuing mission...
It now plays video, and on a bigger, brighter screen than before. Apple is claiming in typically bullish fashion that the new 2in screen is 65 per cent brighter than the previous generation's screen and I wouldn't be at all surprised to discover this...

IPOD NANO 8G GRAPHITE

Stubby. That was the first word that popped into our heads when we clapped eyes on the new iPod nano. Three seconds later, though, with the device lying seductively in our hands, we turned from sceptic to believer
Amazing screen resolution, Small and light, New menus and Cover Flow
Screen is small, Stubby design, 8GB maximum memory
Apple has once again raised the bar, and the competition will struggle to keep up

See our hands-on video of the iPod nano. Life is full of uncertainties but one thing we were sure of was that the iPod Nano did not need to play video. Surely, video on a device of that size with that screen would have been ludicrous. But with the 3rd...

The new, video-playing, widebody nano looks a little odd in the pictures. Has Apple's design team finally dropped the ball? Not likelyâ?¦
Excellent sound, video, interface. Flawless iTunes integration. Build quality
Divisive styling

Preview: The new Nano's combination of video screen and impossibly tiny chassis has us all excited but will it escape the shadow of the headline- grabbing iPod Touch to prove as popular as its predecessors?
Smaller and slimmer than ever. Video on the go. Monumental battery-life
Wider than previous versions. Screen still too small for movie-watching

The first thing you'll notice about the third-generation Apple iPod nano is its 2in display. How can you not? The display occupies more than half of the device.
What the nano lacks in a few features and flexibility, it makes up for with its stylish flair. With the nano, Apple delivers a highly capable, eye-catching media player, including great audio quality and a bright, high-resolution display for watching...

Apple iPod (third generation)
The third-generation iPod Nano offers crisp, bright video playback, an exceptionally thin all-metal body, above-average battery life, built-in games, and an advanced user interface.
We're not crazy about the wider body, the smaller scroll wheel, the lack of video output, and the average-sounding audio quality.
The shape may have changed, but Apple's relentless attention to detail remains. The third generation of the iPod Nano provides loads of entertainment for a down-to-earth price.

I have owned a first generation Apple iPod Nano for a while; just recently it started to become unresponsive and then early on Sunday stayed switched on with no button working. So as I was working with a product that needed an iPod what do I do?
Trying to think what else it could have, possible a sleeve or slip case and maybe a still camera but that would need a flash and overall this is so tiny it would not fit
