A good, inexpensive and easy to set up scanner with modest dimensions, belying its ability to reproduce photos and document pages well.
Quick and generally above-average scans, ScanGear is effective scanner applet, Easy multi-page PDF creation
Very basic OCR, Trouble resolving black and white test pattern, Dust/scratch removal only passable

If you want to have an affordable scanner around for digitizing the occasional document or photo, then get the $65 CanoScan LiDE210. Its low price belies its impressive image quality.

I think this is an excellent piece of software, im very exsperienced with scanners as my job it to test them. This model stood out from the rest, it is excelent at it's job.

more complex than last scanner but option for uses good once you have mastered the navigation.

Compact, good clarity, excellent functions & fantastic value for money! Would recommend
Not really bad just a bit pointless, the front buttons pretty much open a dialogue box which you have to select function anyway so its slightly less one-touch than it looks but doesn't detract from the usability of the scanner
Consumer review (newegg.com)
Great software interface, scans well for documents and pictures, saves in format you want, my computer CD tray is broken, so I downloaded the installation disk online, powered by USB so no power cord, scans quickly
So far none, better than my last scanner, an Epson
