Jawbone's second gen activity tracker is smarter and more insightful
Bluetooth Smart support for real-time syncing ; Slim, stylish design ; Great silent alarm feature
No built-in screen ; Shorter battery life than the Jawbone UP ; App is sluggish at times ; Not waterproof
If you are struggling to keep track of all the activities you promised to - like getting ready for bed earlier, going for that run or you’ve been inactive for too long - you can get a nudge by setting up alerts and reminders. These can either be...

The fitness tracker with the most flair
Wireless syncing added ; Stylish and lightweight ; Very soft rubber for comfort ; iOS and Android compatible
No display for on-demand stats ; Doesn't have a web app ; Works with just 10 Android phones ; 2.5mm stereo jack for charging
The Jawbone Up24 is one of the most inspiring fitness wearables that you can latch onto your wrist. The Jawbone Up24 is one of the most inspiring fitness wearables that you can latch onto your wrist. It's fashionable, lightweight design makes it easier...

We've reviewed the Jawbone Up in its previous guises, so you may already be familiar with this fitness tracker and sleep monitor. The latest iteration is the Jawbone Up24, an updated product that works in greater detail than its predecessors. The...
Stylish, comfortable, newly-added Bluetooth revolutionises Up, app is great, Android app is now as good as iOS app
Slightly reduced battery life, can have an impact on phone battery too
The Jawbone Up24 is a massive jump forward from the earlier Up device. It's a fraction more expensive, and the battery life isn't quite as good, but the Bluetooth wireless data transfer means that neither of these things matter a jot. Really, the Up24...

Instead of plugging the band into your smartphone's headphone jack, the new version can synch wirelessly all day long. As long as you have a compatible smartphone, that is. You'll need an iPhone 4S or later, or one of a handful of Android devices.
Expert review by : Jim Martin (techadvisor.co.uk)
With the new Up24 that's sorted and now the band synchs automatically as long as the app is running on your phone.
If you can afford it, the Jawbone UP24 is a great activity tracker. It doesn't have the most features - and the lack of a display is frustrating - but as a tool for motivating you to exercise and generally live a healthier lifestyle, it can be very...

Want to be fitter? Need to sleep better? Sure you do. Jawbone's clever UP24 wristband - now with Bluetooth - can help
Added Bluetooth means hassle-free syncing ; The app introduces challenges and streaks ; Unobtrusive and stylish
Little value for cyclists and swimmers ; App needs to offer more realtime recommendations ; Easy-to-lose dongle required for charging
A stylish fitness band and a smart app, both made super-convenient by the addition of Bluetooth

Editors' Note, March 12, 2014: This review was originally published on November 13, 2013. It has since been updated to reflect the addition of Android support.
The Jawbone Up24 is an incredibly easy-to-use and enjoyable fitness tracker that counts steps, sleep, and calories. The Up24 is water-resistant, light, and comfortable to wear. The device syncs with iPhones and Android phones over Bluetooth.
The Jawbone Up24 lacks a screen to quickly check your progress.
If having a screen isn't a priority, the Jawbone Up24's superb app, clever advice, and comfy fit are hard to resist.
