The Samsung QE75QN900C is the best LCD TV in the brand's 2023 range - and its resolution is just the start of its charms.
Spectacularly bright, colourful pictures ; Gorgeous ‘Infinity’ design ; Outstanding LCD light control
It’s expensive ; No Dolby Vision support ; But still some minor backlight issues
The Samsung QE75QN900C might be an 8K TV, but its outstanding picture quality and fantastic upscaling make it a great buy in today’s 4K world, too.

The QN900C is Samsung's 2023 flagship Neo QLED TV, combining a super-bright Mini LED with cutting-edge 8K resolution
Incredible 8K HDR images ; Powerful and immersive sound ; Extensive next-gen gaming features
No Dolby Vision support ; Fiddly remote control ; It's expensive
The Samsung QN900C is an outstanding 8K TV that delivers class-leading contrast thanks to AI-enhanced image processing and a Mini LED backlight. High dynamic range (HDR) is often stunning, with incredibly bright highlights and deeply saturated colours....

Samsung has gone all out with its 8K flagship QN900C
Outstanding 8K upscaling ; Spectacular brightness and contrast ; Fantastic color depth ; Great off-axis viewing performance
Expensive versus Samsung’s 4K flagship ; No Dolby Vision support ; Still some minor blooming
While perhaps tellingly the Samsung QN900C hasn’t benefitted from the same level of enhancement Samsung has applied to its flagship 4K mini-LED TVs for 2023, it’s still an outstanding performer which really does continue to make a case for 8K resolution.

Want sharp details? Samsung's 8K QN900C mini-LED TV plays 8K natively and upscales lower-res content. It's also bright and colorful, with excellent contrast
Fantastic detail ; Great color and contrast ; Upscales 4K and lower-res content ; One Connect breakout box ; Very thin profile
Some issues with backlighting ; Audio lacks thump
Samsung’s latest 8K TV isn’t cheap, but it delivers fantastic image quality, whether it’s upscaling the 4K content you’re most likely to encounter in the real world to the amazing native 8K content that will blow you mind with its detail.

This astonishingly expensive 8K TV is among the prettiest you can buy.
Brilliantly clear and detailed picture. Rich and realistic color shading. White-hot brightness in highlights. Good contrast and deep black levels. Excellent upscaling and motion processing across content. Tons of features. Gaming Hub rules. Nearly...
Off-axis viewing is good, not great. Screen creates rainbow effect with overhead lights. Middling smart interface. No Dolby Vision. Very expensive considering the lack of 8K content.

Although the Samsung QN900C is a fine TV with plenty of gaming appeal, the lack of widespread 8K content makes it a hard sell compared with more affordable 4K models.

The 75" 8K Samsung QN900C Neo-QLED TV is massive in stature, picture quality, sound quality, and design—a great addition if you can afford it.
Super thin design ; Floating display feel with nearly no bezels ; Fantastic QLED 144Hz display ; Great color and deep blacks ; Mini LED backlighting delivers great brightness ; Samsung's UI is one of the best ; Superior sound quality ; Great performance
Heavy and fragile, take care when unpacking and setting up. Use the provided instructions ; This is a pricey TV, some may find better value buying a Samsung 4K TV over this ; 8K is still not a standard and it may be far off, consider other Samsung TVs...
The Samsung QN900C isn’t for every buyer. The individual looking at this TV should be ready to spend a little extra but with the reward of future-proofing. Any way you cut it, the 75″ 8K Samsung QN900C is BIG in every good way possible.

It's a few years since I first caught a glimpse of Samsung's premium bezel free design at their headquarters in South Korea - but I still remember that
A masterpiece of design that is also a stunning TV
