BenQ promises its flicker-free 27-inch monitor will save you from eye-strain.
Flicker-free backlight reduces eye strain ; Excellent contrast and brightness ; Good colour production
So-so uniformity across screen ; Low-resolution at large size
There's plenty to tweak, too, with five levels of gamma correction and three levels of overdrive (response time) joining the usual suspects. There are three colour temperature presets, Reddish, Normal and Blueish, and a user mode.

Budget 27-inch monitor heaven
Great image reproduction ; Robust and stylish ; Flicker free ; VESA compatible ; Good for movies
No height adjustment ; No swivel stand ; Lousy audio ; Average text reproduction
Displays at the cheaper end of the market are improving in quality. Naturally, there are some areas where this 27-inch display can't compete with its more expensive rivals, but overall, it puts in a performance that belies its price. You're certainly...

Spending time on a computer can be productive and entertaining but it can also produce some other less appealing side effects which this next monitor offers to alleviate.
Back in the early days of movie making, and I am referring to those first black & white offerings, the audience had to put up with a great deal of on-screen flicker as the images were being constantly updated. This flickering phenomenon was the reason...

The best-value 27-inch monitor on the market? We think the BenQ GW2760HS might be the one to buy
Large 217-inch display, flicker-free technology, non-glossy AG matte coating, fantastic colour gamut range, unobtrusive bezel, amazingly low price
Resolution not as high as Apple Cinema Display, colour accuracy isn’t as good as a high-end monitor
This is a superb monitor to choose to go with a Mac mini or as an external display for your MacBook Air or MacBook Pro. At around £200 it offers premium quality and high performance at a price normally associated with much lower quality display.

The BenQ GW2760HS is a cheap, no-nonsense PC monitor that gives you a large and capable 27
The BenQ GW2760HS is quite remarkable indeed. It's a cheap, no-nonsense PC monitor that gives you a large and capable 27" VA panel for a ridiculously low price of Rs 20,000. Not only does this panel seem to possess true 8-bit fidelity, but it doesn't...

BenQ GW2760HS LED Monitor Review gives detailed hands on information on the latest monitor. It comes with some amazing technology and function.
• Excellent color reproduction ; • Good viewing angles ; • Enhanced visual graphics ; • Slim and Sleek ; • Decent contrast ratio ; • Affordable 8-bit monitor
• Weak speakers ; • Lacks USB
Available with an awesome 8-bit panel with good viewing angles and excellent color reproduction, BenQ GW2760HS proves to be a perfect deal with 8-bit VA Panel Monitor, that also for the price of Rs. 20000. Forget having sore eyes now, its flicker free...

Great image and reasonable sound at a sensible price
Consumer review (reevoo.com)
Nice large, bright screen. Good colours; great to look at. Solid stand. Useful to have headphone out socket (for headphones or external speakers). Reasonable price for this size / resolution / features.
Internal speakers are very weedy. (But I expected that, and tend not to use them). Headphone socket gave noise on one set of speakers (though could be poor shielding in those speakers). Headphones + other speakers are fine.

Thin bezel looks great, I have two of these side by side and they look awesome. The panel itself is great, good colours, deep blacks, quick response times. I use it for gaming and office work and both are great.
Seeing as I've got two, I hoped for them to be identical, but the colours from one to another do differ. I did buy them a year apart so it is to be expected. With a bit of tweaking of the colours and so on I now have them matching so I'm very happy.
